We are looking to hire an intermediate/mid-level experienced Web Developer to join our team. This will be a 3 month contract to start. This role will require and focus with ReactJS projects and initiatives. This is geared toward an individual who is interested with initial contract work (not for agencies/contracted work with 3rd party teams). The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, collaborative and possess a keen eye for quality software coding.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's education in Computer Studies/Science
• 3+ years of experience with React web development (note: hands on involvement with at least one large scale commercial project that was built using React will be required)
• In-depth experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/Ajax
• Experience with common libraries (React, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.) and testing frameworks (Mocha)
• Understanding of web application architectures, frameworks and technologies like Redux, Relay, Redux middlewares, RxJS, Angular, Ember.js, etc
• Exposure to source control software (Git, SVN)
• Experience with Agile software development practices
• Ability to write high-performing, reusable UI components
• Familiarity with responsive design concepts and practices
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with React native is considered an asset
