This project requires strong C# and HTML5/Javascript experience. Knowledge of LEADTOOLS SDK is also preferred.
LEADTOOLS Web Scanning application consists of three major components: a Self-hosted Web Service, a cross-browser web interface built with HTML5 and JavaScript, and a Server-side Upload Web Service.
We will provide functional source code as the starting point for this project.
We want to modify the LEADTOOLS HTML5 TWAIN Web Scanning SDK demo application (source is included and is licensed for our use and modification) as follows:
Needed Enhancements to the Self-hosted C# Web Service (ScanningService) Component:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Confirm/Modify the AddIn interface to include the following document and image processing functions - Flip, Rotate, Deskew, Auto Orient, Auto Crop, Line Remove, Border Remove, Inverted Text, Remove Red Eye, Sharpen, Smooth, Gray Scale
Needed Enhancements to the Cross-browser Web Interface Built with HTML5 and JavaScript:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Select and Upload an existing document/image from local computer (this means users can scan or upload a document/image).
2. Specify the Document/Image Type being scanned or uploaded from a defined dropdown list of document types.
3. Specify one or more document tags for each uploaded document.
4. Modify client-side interface to support/include the AddIn image processing functions listed above.
Needed Enhancements to the C# Server-side Upload Web Service:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Perform optimized image compression functions to reduce uploaded image sizes to a manageable image size when saving based on Document/Image type.
2. Allow uploaded Document/Image type to be saved to a different format (i.e. TIFF to PDF) based on Document/Image type.
