Legal Software Research and Analysis

NOTE: I Just want 5 pages, around 1500 words with all details mentioned below. about ONE software, NOT two. explore the various pieces of software that are available to assist with work in the legal industry. Your goal is to write a minimum of 10 pages (3000 words) describing at least two (2) pieces of legal software. Note: You cannot use Childview as one of the pieces of software. Use of any AI to generate your work is prohibited. First, you will need to pick a couple of areas of law that interest you and then you will need to research what software is available in those areas of law. For example, if you are interested in Real Estate Law, you could pick Unity by DoProcess. If you interested in Wills and Estates, you could pick Emergent by Emergent. If you are interested in Corporate Law, you could pick ALF Corporate by ALF Central. There are literally thousands of pieces of software to choose from, including software related to Legal Accounting and Practice Management, such as PCLaw. If known, you might want to choose pieces of software used at the firm where you will be completing your practicum. Once you have researched what software is available specific to your interested areas of law, you will need to pick at least two (2) pieces of software. You will then write a research paper based on the materials you find on the vendors’ websites. For each piece of software, you will want to identify what the software does and any key features. Most vendors have User Manuals and a Knowledge Base available on their website. Reading through this material, you will want to describe how to complete basic tasks using the software, and detail any tips, tricks and cautions relevant to the software. Some vendors have training videos available or you may want to even contact the vendor to see if you can arrange for a basic training session on the software. You may format your research however you think best, as long as your final submission looks professional, using appropriate terminology and citations (in-line, footnotes or endnotes acceptable), without any typos or grammatical mistakes. Your final submission must be submitted in Word (PDFs will not be accepted). Your final submission should include screen snips where appropriate.
