Build Raspberry Pi Distro Now - We demand that you have experience with this stuff.

Imagine a Wordpress site allowing users to upload objects (images, annimations and videos) to the database. That is settled.

We make satellites which is a Rasberry Pi and a monitor. The RPI is connection to the server now and then to upload mentioned files.

Every satellite is well defines and objects are well attached.

We need to make a build which make the RPI able to connect to the server.

- First time its booting downloading default settings. This default can be modified for every satellite

- Perodically objects are downloaded.

The build made must use a connect-string to indentify itself on the server. This string is unique and already well defined

When we flash a sd card we complete the setup with copying above file to the sd disk.

Flow on Raspberry PI. Model 3 and 4:

Mount Sim card allowing rpi to connect to server via WiFi (and GSM)

Mount SD card and flash with Raspberry Imager

Every time RP is turned on it is connecting to the server

As mentioned: the first time it downloads the default data which will inform how often the RP should reconnect. (XX seconds).

Everytime RPI is connecting we check unique satelite and make sure to update all.

Downloading images, animations and videos

RP is starting to download images!

We put a checkmark (timestamp?) in the image table file so we know whats new, updated, deleted.

We start the slider after we download image number one!

Images are displayed according to the default values.

We make sure that we handle as much image file types as possible

We make sure we also hand animations and videos.

We have an api on the server working well (few things will be fixed). It shows what should be uploaded/displayed on the RPI

All sats have id's and things are working well. We just need to create the build handling above things.

Unfortunately we lost the source code and have desided to start again.

We are aware about a few problems, but we fix then on the fly.

We will recommend Rasbian Phyton and hope you already has hardware needed to speed up things.

Our job it real urgent and you must be able to start now. Time is very important!
