NEED A DEVOPS EXPERT
The client currently has a big site ([login to view URL]) hosted on Google cloud, Nginx based with LB etc. This is not a WP site.
They want to add on their cloud a new LAMP setup to host a WordPress site, that will enable them to manage content in specific folders under the [login to view URL] domain.
Example:
Traffic reaching [login to view URL] will reach this new server
Traffic reaching [login to view URL] will reach this new server
Is there any issue with this?
Can we base this on some dns setup or htaccess redirects in the main site for these specific folders?
2. Project tasks (if the above is possible…):
* Get access to the client’s server
* We (the client) will setup there a different domain than the live one, so we can do all tests of the flow on it - [login to view URL]
* You will setup a static page (maybe on a single temp server), that will get all traffic from for the [login to view URL] domain
* You will create a LAMP setup on a single VM under this domain
* You will install WP on it
* You will setup the redirects or other GC logic to have a the folders (/blog and /landingpage) under [login to view URL], point to the WP install, while all other links of this temp domain will point to the static page we created before
* If all this works, we will then change the domain of this server to be the live one and the same with all above folder setup
