Increase Email Sending Speed on a VPS

We have Acelle Mail installed on a VPS.
The VPS sent 122,094 / 300,000 in 15 hours which is around 8000 emails per hour. We need to be sending around 100,000 per hour.
Can the VPS be configured to send the emails quicker? The SMTP server has no restrictions on sending speed.
