We are looking for a freelance virtualization expert to format a server where Nutanix software is currently running and then install oVirt with all its components. The main goal is to migrate all the virtual machines that are on the Nutanix server to oVirt and ensure that all the data is transferred smoothly.
In addition, the freelancer is expected to configure the necessary clusters for a good functioning on another server with high availability and shared storage, essential for redundancy and continuity of service. The freelancer is expected to have extensive experience setting up and managing oVirt and have worked on similar projects before.
The selected freelancer must carry out the following steps:
-Format the server where the Nutanix software is currently running and verify that the hardware meets the minimum requirements for installing oVirt.
-Install oVirt with all its components, including the virtualization engine, the hypervisor, the shared storage system, and the administration console.
-Migrate the virtual machines from the Nutanix server to oVirt. This includes configuring network adapters and storage devices to make virtual machines available to oVirt.
-Configure a cluster on another server with high availability and shared storage to ensure redundancy and continuity of service. The freelancer will need to set up the necessary network, storage and security settings to ensure that the cluster is working properly.
The freelancer is expected to provide detailed documentation of the entire installation and migration process, as well as the cluster configuration. The project has a maximum period of 10 days from the start of the tasks.
Please make sure you have previous experience installing and configuring oVirt and migrating virtual machines. Experience in configuring clusters with high availability and shared storage will also be valued.
