I need a email server setup and installed on CentOS 6. It needs to have Procmail or something similar that can handle incoming email that matches the filter and then send the email to a script where it essentially gets the needed info and incorporates it into a curl post.
mail sent to group1 @ [url removed, login to view] with subject and no body is accepted and piped to script where it is used to send a curl command.
curl -d \'User=usernamehere&Password=passwordhere&Groups=group1&Subject=Alert&Message=Subject line from received email\' [url removed, login to view]
all data is static except the Groups= which is set to group1 since the email was sent to group1@ [url removed, login to view]
and Message= contains the subject line of the received email..
I would like an email notification after the curl is sent and gets the xml response that contains the: <Response>
Reliability is important. I want to allow only trusted senders. And I would imagine there will be a config file where I can add valid addresses to be piped. such as group1 @ [url removed, login to view] group2 @ [url removed, login to view] etc. I need it done right away and by someone experienced in this area, so only bid if you can get going on this right away. Thanks for looking!
Formatting is obviously messed up with how Freelance altered my description. Ask for clarification or for the curl example if you would like more details.
