Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Equipment Manager to oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of IT equipment, primarily laptops, for our client companies. This role is essential in ensuring that our offshore development team has uninterrupted access to these devices remotely. The ideal candidate will be based in the United States, have strong organizational skills, and be available to provide basic technical support when needed. Responsibilities: Equipment Management: Receive, store, and maintain IT equipment, including laptops and other related devices, ensuring they are in good working order. Ensure each laptop is powered on and connected to the internet 24/7, allowing remote access by our developers. Shipping and Logistics: Prepare and ship equipment to various locations as needed. This includes packaging, arranging shipping, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and safe arrival. Ensure that shipping documentation is accurate and complete. Support and Maintenance: Provide basic support for installing necessary software or resolving any issues that may arise while the equipment is in storage. Coordinate with technical support teams to troubleshoot and fix issues that cannot be resolved independently.
