Dispatching honestly comes down to three things: organization, urgency, and communication. Trucks lose money when information is delayed, drivers get frustrated when communication is unclear, and customers notice immediately when updates are inconsistent. That coordination-heavy environment is actually where I work best. While I’m entering the trucking/logistics space at the dispatcher level, I already have strong experience managing operational workflows, coordinating moving parts, handling client communication, tracking tasks closely, and keeping systems updated in real time. I’m very comfortable working in fast-paced environments where responsiveness matters and where missing small details can create bigger operational problems later. I’m also comfortable learning and working with load boards, TMS platforms, dispatch workflows, shipment tracking, route coordination, and communicating with drivers/customers professionally throughout the dispatch cycle.
