SAP WM Consultant Required

Hiring Alert | SAP WM Consultant Location: Pune Work Mode: Onsite WFO: All 5 Days Work from Office Experience: 8 - 10 Years Engagement: Contract Role: SAP WM Consultant Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Warehouse Management, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse configuration, inbound and outbound processes, RF frameworks, barcode scanning, and SAP WM integrations. The ideal candidate should have 8 – 10 years of experience in SAP WM with strong exposure to manufacturing and logistics processes, along with at least 2 to 3 end-to-end SAP implementation project experience. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications Configure and enhance SAP WM modules including warehouse structure, storage types, putaway, picking, and replenishment strategies Work on transfer orders, physical inventory, handling unit management, and warehouse optimization Manage inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes including inventory control Support integration with SAP MM, SD, and production processes including staging and backflush operations Work with RF frameworks, barcode scanning solutions, IDocs, and external WMS integrations Collaborate with global architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders Design and implement scalable SAP WM solutions Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and resolve issues during testing cycles Develop technical and end-user documentation Conduct training sessions and support knowledge transfer activities Lead workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams Required Skills 8 – 10 years of experience in SAP WM Strong exposure to manufacturing and logistics processes Experience in at least 2 to 3 end-to-end SAP implementations Strong expertise in SAP WM configuration Experience in warehouse structure, transfer orders, physical inventory, and handling unit management Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics Experience in internal warehouse movements and inventory management processes Experience working with RF frameworks and barcode scanning solutions Experience with integration tools such as IDocs and external WMS systems Strong understanding of SAP WM integration with MM, SD, and production processes Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Good communication skills with ability to lead workshops Ability to work in global environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams Preferred Skills Familiarity with SAP EWM Experience in ECC WM Experience in SAP WM migration projects Experience working in manufacturing / logistics domain Experience in contract-based assignments Immediate joiners / short notice candidates preferred
