Full disclosure: This is (will be) also posted on other freelance sites.
My company is entering the commercialization phase for our software platform used in Financial Tech. We are a startup, but a mature one. We are looking for a 3D Animation Graphic Designer to take on the creation of a 15-second video intro which we will prefix to our product and training videos as well as being used on our website.
Background: The company has designed a software platform which allows the seamless integration of multiple 3rd party financial apps to a clients existing backend. We provide a means whereby our clients can have a full currency and crypto agnostic wallet capable of transferring value between any digital asset and any virtual currency. Our taglines are "Unlocking the Internet of Value" and "The Operating System of Digital Finance"
The Creative: Due to the nature of our logo and our company name (Omnigate Systems Inc.) we naturally have gravitated to the idea of using a Stargate-esque animation. The concept would be to have the logo featured prominently, but slightly left of center. Over the course of the animation, visual representations of our integrations and capabilities (think PayPal, Stripe, CentOS, AES256, etc.) would appear on the individual tiles, as the tile rotates. These representations would be triggered by (again, think of the DHD device from Stargate) the pressing of icons which represent, Banks, Video Game Studios, Payment Processors, Fortune 500 Companies, and StartUps. As the last logo/representation appears on a tile and is "locked" (similar to the Stargate dialing sequence in Stargate SG1, Stargate Universe et. al.) then the logo then either collapses to a singularity and a portal into the "Internet of Value" is opened, or the logo expands, and opens up the portal. Overlayed on the portal would be the company name, and our selected tag-line and contact info.
Secondary Creative Consideration: This is where your vision comes into play. Before the "stargate" or Omnigate logo is unlocked or activated - there should be a physical barrier of sorts in the middle of the logo. Preventing companies from accessing the Internet of Value. The barrier should represent the current problems of entering the Internet of Value which can be condensed into being 1) expensive and cost prohibitive 2) slow 3) inflexible. How this can be envisioned, I am unsure of.
The Requirements: The video, a maximum of 15 seconds, (we can extend this slightly if necessary, but only if impossible inside of 15 seconds. We do not want to lose the viewer with a long intro on each video) It should be rendered at a minimum of 1080p, but preferred at 4K for the source file. The aspect ratio must be 16:9 (1.7:1). Ownership must be fully transferred to the company at the time of sale.
