We are looking for an eye-catching, recognizable, legible design for our Women’s Network. The logo will be featured on our internal communications within the department and used in our communications with other informal groups across the Canadian federal public service, on our upcoming social media platforms, and on posters and messages to members.
With over 1,000 members, the Women’s Network at Global Affairs Canada -GAC (Dept. of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development) aims to achieve gender equity and increase the number of women in leadership roles in the department by providing them with a community of support to advance their career objectives. We have a small budget and are looking for a low-cost option for a simple logo for our group.
Professional: We are looking for an eye-catching, recognizable, legible design. The logo will be featured on all Women’s Network’s communications within the department and GCcollab, on our upcoming social media platforms, and on posters and messages to members.
Theme: Logo must promote our strategic priorities: community engagement, gender equity, inclusion and representation, professional development and leadership, and collaboration and partnerships. The logo should also include an element pertaining to the Canadian federal public service (such as the stylised red maple leaf).
Colour: There are no limitations; any colours may be used. However, the logo must look good in colour, black and white, greyscale, and reverse treatments. The logo must be bilingual (Réseau des femmes | Women’s Network) and capture GAC’s organisational culture.
Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material and must be unique. Logos may not include images or licensed images. Must be easily reproducible and scalable for large and small formatting (png, tif, jpg formats).
