Custom PowerPoint Plug-In for Macintosh

App Requirements I require a Macintosh-compatible installer for a PowerPoint plug-in. After double-clicking the installer, it should install 3 components into the user’s default PowerPoint template. The goal is to have the 3 components appear every time that the user launches PowerPoint. The plug-in should be easy to uninstall or deactivate by following either of the following two methods: 1. Double-click the installer and select uninstall (.dmg file) 2. Uninstall the plug-in from within PowerPoint (PowerPoint settings) The three components are: functions, ribbon and icons, keyboard shortcuts. Functions There are multiple functions written in VBA code, e.g., subsequently selected objects take on the height and width of the first selected object [select a square → select a rectangle → activate the function = the rectangle becomes a square with the same height and width as the original square] They should be executable by clicking an icon or by using a shortcut. The VBA macro method of running the functions should be unavailable. The VBA code should not be accessible to the user. Ribbon & Icons A new ribbon or section of a ribbon is installed with icons indicating each shortcut. The icons will need to be created using stock images or by design. Based on my perfunctory research, this may require some work in an .xml file. Shortcuts Each function should have a shortcut assigned to it. On Macintosh computers, use of the Command key is reserved for OS-wide commands and requires a change in System Settings to be more universally accessible. If this can be done during the installation process, then let us do this. If not, let us use shortcuts that do not require a modification to System Settings. Subscription Control I would like to commercialize the plug-in on a subscription basis. Activation or enablement of the plug-in should require license key. The license key should synchronize with a server so that the license is only renewed or extended upon payment. The subscription period will be 1-year. Long-term Working Arrangement I would like to offer users free and paid updates to the plug-in. A long-term working relationship with the developer would be my preference.
