I need an ANSYS specialist who can model and analyse a superplastic-forming operation for material research purposes. The work sits more in the manufacturing-engineering corner than in classical structural or CFD studies, so I’m looking for someone comfortable setting up forming simulations, defining appropriate constitutive laws for superplastic alloys, and extracting the data that will let me compare predicted thinning, strain-rate sensitivity and final part geometry against lab results. Here’s what I’m expecting from the collaboration: • A complete ANSYS Workbench (or APDL) setup that reproduces the forming cycle I’ll specify – tooling, temperature profile, pressure ramp, boundary conditions, friction, etc. • Iterative runs as we fine-tune material parameters; I will supply test data, you fit or implement the flow-stress model. • A concise report with contour plots, time-history graphs and your observations on thickness distribution, potential failure zones and any optimisation insights you spot. If you have previous superplastic-forming or hot-forming projects on record, please mention them along with the ANSYS version you plan to use. I can start sharing geometry files as soon as we agree on a workflow and timeline.

Hello, I am a Mechanical Engineer with experience in ANSYS Mechanical, nonlinear material modeling, thermal analysis, and manufacturing-process simulations. Your project is particularly interesting because it focuses on constitutive behavior, flow-stress modeling, strain-rate sensitivity, and thickness evolution rather than standard structural FEA. I can assist with: • ANSYS Workbench/APDL setup for the superplastic forming process • Definition and calibration of material behavior using supplied test data • Temperature, pressure, friction, and boundary-condition implementation • Thickness distribution, strain, stress, and deformation analysis • Time-history plots and comparison with experimental/literature results • Concise engineering report with observations and optimization recommendations My background includes advanced FEA simulations, material behavior studies, thermal-mechanical analysis, and research-oriented engineering projects. I am comfortable working iteratively to refine material parameters and improve correlation with test data. Before finalizing the scope, I would like to review the geometry, material data, and ANSYS version requirements to confirm the workflow and timeline. I am available to start immediately. Hi, I can help set up and analyse the ANSYS superplastic forming simulation for your material research project, including tooling, thermal conditions, pressure cycle, contact/friction, material behaviour, thinning, strain-rate response, and final geometry comparison. The best solution is to first review your geometry, forming cycle, alloy test data, temperature profile, pressure ramp, boundary conditions, and lab comparison targets. Then I’ll build the ANSYS Workbench/APDL model, implement or fit the flow-stress/constitutive law, run iterative simulations, and extract meaningful results for validation against your experimental data. I’m comfortable with nonlinear FEA, manufacturing/process simulation, thermal-mechanical analysis, contact setup, forming simulations, material parameter fitting, contour plotting, time-history graphs, and technical reporting. I can work with ANSYS Workbench or APDL depending on your preferred workflow and file format. Deliverables will include: * Complete ANSYS simulation setup * Tooling/contact/boundary condition definition * Pressure and temperature cycle setup * Material model implementation/fitting * Iterative simulation runs * Thickness/strain/strain-rate results * Final geometry comparison * Concise report with plots and observations I can start once you share the geometry files, material data, forming cycle, and expected lab reference results.
