In the one I've done before, the user was capable to browse to any place on his computer to get the data from text files, do algebraic operations and plotting the results with the options of saving those plots. The user was also capable of saving the generated data in organized excel sheet. didn't work CSV-files before but I believe they will the same as the text files in MAT LAB with simple modifications. It will be a very friendly user interface with comments so you can understand it and modify it later if you wanted to.
