We are looking for a mechanical engineer with solid industry experience in control systems and motion equations.
The goal is to stabilize the beam of a moving radiowave antenna, and orient it towards a fixed object at a distance. Your mission will be to lay out and program the control system of a 2 DOF gimbal (which is fixed on a 6DOF object) that will control the antenna.
You should have previous industry experience building similar systems (for example, robotic arm control, simulation of coupled motion, etc).
The selection will happen in 2 steps:
1) Please mention a relevant industry project you have completed in the screening question
2) We will ask qualified engineers some preliminary questions around the system to test their critical thinking
Once you pass both steps we will move forward. You will either be advisor to the project or be the person implementing it, depending on price and availability
