Dear Sir or Madam:
I am Brett Pasquinelli of Pasquinelli Engineering Consulting . With my knowledge and experience
in the mechanical and manufacturing engineering fields , I offer effective consulting and contractual services
to meet your individual needs. I bring twenty years’ experience as both a mechanical engineer and
manufacturing engineer to the table, and my degree is a B.S in Industrial Engineering specializing in
Manufacturing/Design Engineering from The Ohio State University.
In my career I have worked for or with companies that are house hold names or long-time leaders in
their industry including: Caterpillar/Bucyrus, Horsburgh & Scott, Wabtec, Powerex, and DreBo America. My
strong points revolve around large industrial equipment and machine design for the mining industry, as well as
large gear design and mechanical/rotational systems for the steel, rubber, and aluminum industries. Among
interesting projects, I was involved with include:
Development and design of the largest “room and pillar” continuous mining machine in Bucyrus
(Caterpillar) history.
A unique “bolt-on” spray-suppression system to a standard model continuous-miner that would
have saved our customers an estimated $80,000 to $90,000 dollars over similar systems offered by our
competition. Additionally, this spray-system was undergoing review for a patent.
In another consulting project I was involved in the development of a cryogenic motor/generator for
conceptual ground-penetration radar where among other things I explored special fastener and bolting
techniques for materials of dissimilar thermal expansion and shrink rates.
The following is a generalization of my knowledge experiences:
