Job Description:
Hi Freelancer,
I would like to analyze a 1.5mm thick GI Steel with loads shown in the screenshot. I would like to know what effect would having slot holes have on the U profile with the loadings described below and further information in the attached screenshot.
The U Profile is connected to a 120x60x3mm A36 Steel Box section. Connection to the Steel box section is through two self drilling screws on each side as shown in the photos.
Point load is exerted on the U profile as shown in the photos.
Maximum Uplift Load - 1.63KN
Maximum Downwards Load - 1.83KN
Please let me know if any further information is required. The material for the GI Steel can be considered as A36 Steel.
