I keep a master list of text in Excel and need the same strings to appear in set bookmarks inside a lengthy Word document. Manually updating each spot is getting out of hand, so I want to automate the round-trip. The core job is to write reliable VBA/macros that will: • Pull text data from specific Excel cells. • Match each cell to its corresponding Word bookmark. • Push the new text into Word at the click of a button (or Workbook_Open/Document_Open event). • Offer a simple “refresh” command so I can rerun the sync whenever the spreadsheet changes. • Handle errors gracefully (missing bookmark, blank cell, Word not open, etc.). Nice-to-have: If a bookmark’s text is edited directly in Word, a reverse sync back to Excel would be a bonus.
