I have a small service business selling certification projects.
For each project about 50-60 data fields need to be populated into 5-6 MS Word templates. Each template contains about 10-20 data fields.
An MS Access database need to be created with all the data fields and a few reports and forms. I want for example to be able to see a report of all open projects.
There will be about 5 tables with fields: Customers, Products, Invoice, Project, Services
When a new project starts, I want to do the following procedure:
1. Upload a new set of data using a excel template containing all the 40-50 data fields (Excel upload template need to be created in this GAF-project)
2. The Access database is then updated
3. I then want to populate each and every of the Word templates with data from the Access database, by triggering this in some way. The Word templates are already existing and we need to use these templates. The templates are for example; invoice, contract, inspection report.
A bonus would be if a copy of the template file with a predefined filename could be created every time a template is populated.
This project might require some visual basic programing.
I will provide a list with all data fields to be used and the predefined Word-templates. I will also show what data fields each template should contain.
Bidders should explain about similar projects performed in this area and also give a brief description of the proposed solution.
