I originally posted this project a few months ago but then everything got stopped because of Covid-19.
So, I have done a bit more work on the requirements and I am posting it again here.
We are a catering equipment service company based in Dublin, Ireland. We carry out repairs and maintenance on a wide range of commercial catering appliances for our customers.
We have an access database for managing service requests from our customers. This is a simplified version of the Customer Service database template from Microsoft.
At the moment we use the database to keep track of calls from our customers and email them to our technicians. We would like to enhance this database to do more.
In the first phase, we wish to make enhancements to allow us to produce quotations for spare parts and keep records of faults, repairs and parts fitted to appliances. I have attached a document giving more detail on upgrades we require in this phase.
