Job Description:
Yara is seeking 2 BI Specialists to work in Singapore / Indian time zone on a 4 month project.
We are looking for individual freelancers who can dedicate 40 hours a week, start immediately.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Study, analyse and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence. Understand fundamentals of data preparation/data modelling necessary for the visualization purpose.
· Analyze pervious and present data for better decision making. Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards, scorecard, and reports.
· Transform business requirements into technical publications
· Design, map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights and identify the requirements and develop custom charts accordingly.
· Build multi-dimensional data models, Run DAX queries and functions in Power BI
· Connecting to various data sources, importing data and transforming data for analysis in Power BI,
· Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts
· Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models, define and design new systems
· Work closely with Data Engineers to take care of data warehouse development
· BI user management and information restriction / dissemination for respective stakeholder groups.
· Presenting information through reports and visualisation according to the business requirements and understanding
Required Profile:
· BE/B- Tech, BCA, MCA, BSc/MSc, MBA
· At least 2- 4 years of experience as a BI Analyst. Experience in designing dashboards.
· Proficient with BI tools, BI systems, write DAX expressions, and implement security.
· Experience in data modelling, SQL Queries, ETL and BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Metabase etc.
· Comfortable working with our tools: AWS, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Docker
· Good to have: Python package for data visualization.
Budget: $15 - $22/hr
Payment term: Monthly
