Hi, I'm Delphi expert with more than 15 years of experience dating from Delphi 1 to Delphi XE6, I've done many similar projects (conversion of old delphi applications to latest versions). Depending on your code, how well it's written, commented does it use third party controls, this may ne an middle complex or very complex tasks. I would like to hear more details on what are you using, components, do you have assembler code, etc. Note that time estimation and project value will depend on this.

Hello, I have more then ten years experience in Delphi including versions 4,6,7, Xe, xe2, xe4,xe6 also wit MSSql server and other rdbms. I have translated lot of projects from non-unicode Delphi versions to unicode including visual and non-visual components. However it would be good to know how big your projects are. Hi there , I'm delphi coder actually I used to work with delphi starting by version 6 currently I'm using XE7 and XE3 , well I used to code Database driven applications just like the one you have mentioned using the latest Engines like FireDAC,ADO,DBEXpress,UNIDAC,ZEOS and so forth with the latest RDBMS like ACCESS,MYSQL,SQLSERVER,FIREBIRD and so forth well u r about to change your app little bit besides you can use the latest components anyway just provide me with more information and I'll do my best ^^ Best Regards

Could you please provide me more details of application, size, which components are used? From my experience 12 application cant be converted in 30 days, but please provide me more details. For the past 2 years I have been working on conversion of couple of applications and there are a lot of problems that can come up depending on components. Application that I work on are so huge that even testing this converted versions sometimes took more than a month. I am not saying yet that this can't be done but please provide me more details. Hi. There are more than 27 years now accumulating experience developing. From Clipper on MSDOS and dBase II on CPM then starting with Delphi 2, and up to XE6. Actually, I am upgrading a protect from 5 to XE6 and Firebird. XE7 is just now being testing. With MS-SQL Server I has worked up to version 2008, but I think there is not too much difference to 2014, specially about SQL syntax (it should be ANSI standard). I know I have to study to upgrade my self. But I Love to work as Freelancer and I will appreciate if you give me this opportunity to work on this project.

Hi. The conversion will depend on whether or not you are using 3rd party controls. If you are then there could be issues. If not then it should be quite straightforward.
