Two things here decide whether a 500-SKU fashion store performs or merely loads, and neither is the one most stores get wrong. The first is catalogue structure. At 500+ SKUs with size and colour variants, filtering has to be built on real metafields and tags, not theme defaults. Get that wrong and search, the size guide and the collection pages all degrade together. I would model the catalogue first, then build pages against it. The second is COD. You have already flagged fake orders and RTO as the reason for OTP and WhatsApp verification, which is the right call and less common than it should be. That flow has to sit where it can stop an order, so it shapes the checkout build rather than being a plugin toggle. One flag: a Meta pixel alone loses a lot of attribution in India to blockers, so the server-side Conversions API you listed is not optional. On scope I would rather be straight. Part 1, the Shopify store, is what I build — your full list, catalogue and filters through Razorpay, GST invoicing, shipping, WhatsApp, reviews, tracking, email flows and the 500-SKU import. Part 2, the app, I do not build; I don't do native or hybrid app development and would rather say so than take it on badly.
