Hi have a website where users can add their events for free.
Each event is displayed on the website with the full address information, title, description and map using google maps.
I need an Android app where the users can show on the phone the global map of all events, select with the touch an event and display the details of the event exactly the same as shown in the event page of the website, when on the event details a button to start the android navigator using the longitude and latitude information already saved from the website sql database with the gps connection phone module.
Last important function: always active background app option (that can be disabled from the user)
The user will be able with this function activated. to be notified automatically with a little notification in the task bar, when connected with a wireless or 3g/hsdpa connection, to be advised of all events near its position (with an option preference field where can set how much distance include in the events search notification) - the location of the user will be found through the gps satellites or through the geolocation of the internet connection. Both options will be selectable from the user that will decide wich turn on or turn off.
This is the generic functionality, but I think that for a nice developer is all more clear.
Soon as i could add a detailed document...
My developer preferences are: keep in mind all, all aspects must be completed, if the developer see an aspect to solve it will solve directly without ask me, I will not be attached to my computer 24h to follow it..! in a simple word: professional developer!
Regards to all.
