This project requires development of a website (must be in PHP) and both Android and iPhone/iPad applications.
Upon installation of the app, the user will be present with a screen, prompting them to associate their phone with an account on the website.
If they already have an existing account they simply enter their email address and password.
If the need to register a new account, they will be presented a form with the relevant fields.
Users should only be asked this information the first time they start the application. Users should have the option to associate the phone with a different account from a settings area.
The main application screen will have a single button, labelled emergency.
Upon pressing the emergency button the application will:
• Take a photo with devices camera OR record a short video clip (e.g. 10 seconds) and upload this to a server.
• Place a phone call which sends data using the Contact ID alarm monitoring format to a control centre.
• Makes a constant alert noise until the emergency mode is cancelled.
All three functions will be configurable on and off.
Users will be able to visit the website, login with their username and password and view the photos or video that have been upload.
Operators at the control centre will also be able to access the uploaded photos and videos using a supervisor style login.
There is a strong preference for developers in the Sydney, Australia area. We would prefer to deal with someone who we can deal with in person, as well as offer on going work.
The listed budget is only because we have to pick a price. We are negotiable on cost.
