We have an ongoing HTML5 project to create a player that reads existing datafiles created using our Flash web authoring application. This HTML5 player (wrapped in PhoneGap) will run thousands of our existing activities on iOS and Android devices. We need additional functionality to: • Store the datafolders on an Internet server • Purchase from within the HTML player's menu • Communicate with Apple's and Android's in-app purchasing/billing gateways • Download purchased products and install them on the device • Update the data-driven menu in the HTML5 player All of these tasks are described more fully in the attached specifications document. Finally, you can see how the actual menu structure works (at least for children selecting activities from those they have purchased) at: www;flinklearning.com. Click the Play button on the Home page or the Play Tab, and the Play button again. We are looking for the following sets of experience: • PhoneGap • HTML5 • Server-side programming • in-app purchasing and in-app billing We are especially interested in using existing tools and technologies, instead of re-inventing the wheel, wherever possible. Proposals need to include relevant experience, cost, and a detailed schedule, by task, and need to be submitted by Monday, August 7.
