We are seeking an iOS developer to produce our app to help young ball players become a better Pitcher! Through video analysis of the pitching/throwing motion the young player can more easily understand the mechanics of pitching, and have a visual tool with which to analyze what areas they need to work on, and what they are doing well. Our company seeks to empower coaches by giving them the ability to properly analyze and teach, and to promote healthy arms among the many young baseball players currently throwing in the amateur ranks. Not only will our app provide video analysis and mark up tools, but we will provide additional instructional information so that the players and coaches understand what they are looking at as they slow-motion scroll through the players recorded pitching motion.
Features that need to be built into the app:
* Video record
* Slow motion scroll
* Mark up feature w/freehand line, directional lines, circle, box
* Side by side video feature
* Record w/mark-up, notes, and voice notations
* Save recordings to device, upload to computer, email feature, and possibly social media features (facebook etc...)
* Calendar feature to record each training sessions duration, number of pitches thrown, etc...
The app will also provide additional information based material related to conditioning and strengthening for pitching, mechanics, and how to maintain a healthy arm.
This is a very sophisticated app, and it needs to be as user-friendly as possible, and designed to look and feel professionally engineered.
