Android phones (specifically Galaxy S6 phones) use an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust the phone’s display brightness. When the light sensor is turned off, the maximum screen brightness is 432 cd/m2. With the ambient light sensor active, the maximum LCD brightness is 784 cd/m2.
We want to hack this ambient light sensor or the brightness control of the phone to pragmatically set the phone's screen to the 784 cd/m2 brightness for a short period of time and then back to normal.
If you are a Android expert with experience in working with Samsung phones and LCD brightness control please apply for this project.
