I was the ambassador for an organization who helps those with disabilities. I have also spoken about living fully in a church that is mature in years and have received great reviews. I am more than willing to send you a reference from a member of this church to support this statement. Finally, being that I am a quadriplegic I have a great understanding of the feelings and beliefs that block active living and therefore having a grounding in structural reality when it comes to my advice. I.e. I'm not going to tell you audience to just"Think positive thoughts"knowing that having mobility issues or a declining health create barriers and grief that need to be acknowledged before motivation can be gained. Of course I will ask people to challenge limiting beliefs. However, what I'm saying is that my approach respects all aspects of the human experience including what may be stopping us. Which I feel with your age group, might allow people to feel more comfortable and willing to take steps in and positive direction. I live in Canada and as such I will need to speak with you about possible travel expenses or remote format to give the presentation.
