About the project We are launching a premium digital publication covering alternative investments for an institutional audience. We need an automation specialist to design and build a content workflow that monitors trusted sources, classifies material by investment category, scores its relevance, drafts original editorial in our house style, sends it for human approval, publishes to our WordPress site, and distributes to social media. This is not a simple scraper or republishing tool. The system must transform source signals into original, brand aligned editorial. We will provide the prompts, the house style, and the category logic. You build the machine. Workflow stages we need built Source ingestion. Monitor a defined list of sources (RSS feeds, websites, and where feasible LinkedIn and X) and capture new items relevant to alternative investments. Categorization. Automatically classify each item into our four verticals (Private Credit, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Mercados) and apply cross cutting theme tags. These should map to native WordPress categories and tags. Relevance scoring. Assign a weighted score to each item based on rules we define (topic fit, source quality, freshness, allocator relevance) so low value noise is filtered out and the highest priority items surface first. Editorial drafting. Pass qualifying items through an LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini) using our supplied prompts to produce an original draft in our editorial voice. Output must be original, never copied source text. Human review checkpoint. Route drafts to an approval queue (a WordPress draft post, Google Sheet, or Notion) so nothing goes live without a human approving it. Publishing. Push approved drafts to WordPress via the REST API, with correct title, category, tags, and featured image set on the media endpoint. Social distribution. Generate platform native versions and post to our channels, priority on LinkedIn and X. Stack and preferences We lean toward n8n (self hosted) or Make. Both have native WordPress nodes, so tell us what you recommend and why. CMS is WordPress with REST API access. LLM provider is flexible, recommend based on cost and quality. The build must be documented so we can maintain and extend it ourselves. Deliverables A working, documented workflow covering the stages above (a phased version is fine if you recommend sequencing).
