I need a .NET script that will allow me to compare 2 documents and return the resultant changes.
Here is an example of a result:
Document 1: Elvis has entered the building. Elvis has left the building.
Document 2: Elvis enters the building. Elvis has left this building.
Resultant: Elvis <del>has entered</del> <ins>enters</ins> the building. Elvis has left <del>the</del> <ins>this</ins> building.
Items should be returned in an array of 'hunks', so when looking at a full document... If the next sentence is without change, then the above result would be the 'First Hunk' and the next result in the array would be the next change detected and would be considered the 'Second Hunk'
There are a number of algorithms out there for this purpose, all I need is a simple way to use them. Here are the 2 methods I would need:
1. FileChange(file1, file2) - This should allow me to put file LOCATIONS in as file1, file2 and allow the script to read those files for changes.
2. StringChange(string1, string2) - This should allow me to pass in a string and allow the script to detect changes in the strings.
This should not be difficult for a .NET programmer. Please submit your bids and note your experience level.
************** PUT THE TEXT: !RE:CHANGE!
into your bid. We do not accept automatic bids
