I am working on a VB.NET 2005 small text editor and have some current requirements that I need completed as soon as possible. I am always in need of C# and VB.NET 2005 programmers and future work is a definite possibility.
Currently, I am in need of a means to create page numbers for rich-text that's currently in an RTFBox. I've hired someone for this before and they were unable to figure out how to do this, but they also couldnt' build a custom ruler component and I was able to finish that in less than 200 lines! I do have a function to convert this RTF text to HTML, but I don't think this will help...but maybe someone will find this option helpful. Also, I believe one could use something in the 'Print Preview' control(s) to determine where the pages start and end. Please let me know if you can figure out how to do this and give me an estimate of how long it will take. I do need this very soon so please let me know if you can assist and how long it will take.
Another smaller function would be to add line spacing to the text. Only two to three functions would be needed: single-spacing (obviously, already incorporated), double-spacing, and one and a half space (1 1/2 -- I might be able to do without this if it's too difficult). I was thinking of doing something with the Enter/Carriage Return, but I'm not sure this is the best way to go about it. It should be easy, but the page numbering system far outweighs this functionality.
Please only experienced programmers in VB.NET that have some knowledge of how to do this and have researched the subject somewhat. I have already hired someone for this before and have lost a week already so I'd only like serious applicants.
As I mentioned before, lots more work in not only VB.NET, but also C# are available to experienced .NET programmers...and a permanent position may be available depending on pay rate and experience. Any listings of work that you may have completed or worked on a team to complete would help a lot!
Thanks so much for looking!
