**Senior [login to view URL] / Supabase Developer — Paid AI-Assisted Pilot, Potential Long-Term Project** We are developing a multilingual local-business directory and are looking for a senior, hands-on developer to deliver a fixed-price technical pilot. The successful candidate may subsequently lead the complete V1 build, ongoing maintenance and later V2 development. These would be separately agreed contracts. **The project** The platform combines business discovery, geographic search, recommendations, private saved lists, business management and paid visibility. We have detailed specifications, approved visual concepts and defined business rules. Shortlisted candidates will receive a private pilot brief and relevant project information. **The paid pilot** Build one complete working journey: Find a business → view its profile → save it to a private list → optionally share a read-only link. The pilot must demonstrate: - [login to view URL], TypeScript and Supabase/PostgreSQL. - One canonical business record with a real location and separate service areas. - Authentication and database permissions protecting private lists. - Read-only sharing with revocable links. - A five-language framework: English, Spanish, Dutch, French and German. We supply the agreed pilot translations. - Responsive implementation following supplied design references. - Meaningful automated tests, including permissions and sharing. - Deployment to a client-owned staging environment, with setup documentation. The final scope and acceptance criteria will be agreed before award. **How we expect you to work** Use AI development tools where they improve efficiency. You remain responsible for architecture, code review, testing, integration and the finished software. All code must be committed to our GitHub repository from the start. Relevant accounts will be client-owned. Dependencies, licences and handover requirements must be documented. We want a lead who personally builds and understands the application. If additional developers are proposed, their involvement and cost require prior approval. **Commercial arrangement** - Fixed-price pilot, paid against accepted milestones. - Independent technical review forms part of acceptance. - No additional work or charges without prior written approval. - After the pilot and review of the full specification, we will request a fixed-price proposal for the remaining V1. - Ongoing maintenance and support must be quoted separately. **Please include in your application** 1. Two relevant live applications and exactly what you personally built. 2. Your experience with [login to view URL], Supabase, database permissions, geographic search and multilingual applications. 3. The AI tools you use and how you review and test their output. 4. Your proposed pilot price, estimated duration and availability. 5. Whether you work alone or with named collaborators. 6. Your maintenance offering, support availability and backup arrangements. 7. Your questions or assumptions about the pilot. We will request an indicative full-V1 price range after shortlisted candidates have reviewed the private scope. We value clear communication, sound technical judgement and maintainable software. Please respond specifically to this brief.

I would model the canonical business location and service areas separately in Postgres, then enforce private-list ownership and revocable read-only tokens with Supabase RLS rather than UI checks. I work solo, can start immediately, and will deliver the GitHub-committed staging pilot—search, profile, saved lists, sharing, five supplied locales, responsive screens, permission/share tests and setup notes—in 6 days. I personally built DeskLeap, a live multi-tenant support SaaS with a public REST API, and ClearAgent, a live end-to-end multi-tenant customs-clearing SaaS. I use Claude and Cursor to accelerate implementation, then review every diff, test generated logic, and validate migrations and policies across separate user roles. Maintenance can include defined response windows, documented handover and backup arrangements; no collaborators proposed. Should a shared link show the list’s current items or a snapshot when it was shared? Muhammad Saad

Hello, I’m interested in the paid pilot for your multilingual local-business discovery platform. The pilot scope is well defined, and I particularly appreciate the focus on clean architecture, database permissions, automated testing, client-owned infrastructure and maintainable code rather than simply producing a visual prototype. I would work as the primary developer rather than outsourcing the implementation. If additional specialist assistance ever becomes necessary, I would discuss it with you and obtain approval before involving anyone else. For ongoing support after the pilot, I can provide a separate maintenance arrangement covering bug fixes, security/dependency updates, monitoring, minor improvements and future development. I would be happy to review the private pilot brief and confirm any assumptions before the final milestone agreement. Regards Raheel

Start with the schema and RLS policies, plus tests that log in as user A and try to read user B's list, before any UI exists. Private lists and revocable share links are the part that can't be patched in later, so I want them proven first. Share tokens would be stored hashed with a revoked_at column, and the read-only view would go through a security definer function instead of loosening the table policies. For locations I'd keep a business's point (PostGIS geography) separate from its service areas (polygons), so "near me" and "serves my area" are two different queries. The five languages go through next-intl with locale routing. I haven't seen how your translations are produced, so I'd settle that in M1. M1: schema, RLS, permission tests, 319 EUR, 2 days M2: search, business profile, point/service-area split, 400 EUR, 3 days M3: saved lists, share links with revoke, five languages, 330 EUR, 3 days M4: end-to-end tests, deploy to your staging, handover notes, 226 EUR, 2 days Total 1275 EUR, 10 days. Do the five languages need translated business content or just the interface, and does any of that content already sit in Supabase? Is your staging a Vercel project, or something you host yourself?

I use Claude Code and Cursor to speed up routine work, but I design the schema and RLS policies myself, review every diff before committing, and write tests first for permissions and sharing so AI output has to pass them. My pilot price is €1,200 over about 2 weeks, and I can start immediately. I work alone, so you deal with the same person who writes and understands the code. A few questions. Should service areas be radius-based or drawn polygons? Which map provider do you prefer, Mapbox or open-source MapLibre? Do share links need an expiry date as well as manual revoke? And will login be email only or include Google too? I can start work right away and contact me to discuss more details. Thanks. Smit
