This unique combination of strong financial backing combined with tremendous market potential, makes for a very unique and exciting place to work. <br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/><br/>The role focuses on reacting to critical and serious product defects in an efficient, creative and customer<br/><br/>centric manner that puts into practice FinancialForce’s commitment to providing outstanding customer<br/><br/>support and hence an overall positive customer experience.<br/><br/>The role includes being part of a team that defines, publishes and delivers software patch releases for<br/><br/>FinancialForce products such that Support Teams and Customers have clear visibility of how and when they<br/><br/>will receive fixes to critical and serious product defects.<br/><br/>You will be the type of person who:<br/><br/>• Understand and enjoy working on complex enterprise level software architecture<br/><br/>• Is motivated to improve code performance and to refactor<br/><br/>• Is exceptionally good at troubleshooting and resolving complex puzzles<br/><br/>• Is professional and has an eye for detail and quality<br/><br/>• Enjoys close interaction with Support Teams and Product Management<br/><br/>• Enjoys the immediate feedback when Customer issues are resolved<br/><br/>• Passionate about Customer experience and success<br/><br/>• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear bug/issue explanations<br/><br/>• Is Self-Managing and well organized being able to prioritize work effectively<br/><br/>• Is comfortable interacting with all levels of management<br/><br/>• Is able to work calmly under pressure<br/><br/>The job is office based and involves working as a member of a project team. Knowledge of Agile<br/><br/>methodology would be an advantage as well as having developed packaged solutions sold to external<br/><br/>customers.<br/><br/>There may be the need for occasional offsite meetings or visits. This job will require ad-hoc flexibility in<br/><br/>working hours in order to support and liaise with the company’s US division, customers and technology<br/><br/>partner [url removed, login to view], as needed.<br/><br/>The responsibilities of this role are as follows:<br/><br/>• Working with the Support Teams and the Development Teams, understanding and resolving serious and<br/><br/>critical issues found by Customers<br/><br/>• Implementing fixes into the code base and helping with the process of building Service Packs to deliver<br/><br/>releases<br/><br/>• Improve software code quality for new major releases<br/><br/><strong>Required Skills / Experience</strong><br/><br/><ul><li>5+ years experience developing Java or C# or other related languages.</li><li>3+ years developing enterprise applications.</li><li>Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.</li><li>Skilled in Javascript and HTML.</li><li>Skilled at analysing and solving problems.</li><li>Understanding of application architecture principals.</li><li>Proficiency in OO programming</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Must be a strong communicator with the ability to communicate clearly about ideas &amp; designs both verbally and in writing.</li><li> Understanding of data integration and web services.</li><li> Resourcefulness in getting over problems and establishing clarity.</li><li> Excellent English skills, oral and written<br/></li></ul></div>
