POST CONSUMER PLASTIC PET BOTTLE COLLECTION FROM HYDERABAD ZEPTO STORE

There are around 27 Zepto dark stores(Offline stores) in Hyderabad. All these stores have a collection bin for collecting plastic bottles of coke Pepsi and other brands. Collection bin capacity is around 20kgs.

Process:

So Zepto rider goes to customers for a delivery then he gets empty PET bottles from them and the rider takes them back to the zepto store and he puts the bottle in the collection bin. When the bin is about to get full we will get trigger from store and we have to get it collected from nearby scrap dealer and note down the collection date and weight of collected bottles.

SOP's for us:

1) Visit the zepto stores through the list provided by us.

2) Locate at least two scrap dealers in the local market near the Store.

3) Find out the rate per kg being offered for a fresh post-consumer Plastic PET bottle and finalize the rate.

4) Take scrap dealer contact details of and his shop address.

5) Explain him about the timely collection of bottles from store. Inform him that the bottle should be

collected within the timeline (24 hours), otherwise we will cancel the deal.

6) Share your phone no. with him and tell him that you would be his single point of contact from our

company (RACE).

7) Scrap dealer should carry the I-card which we will provide while going to Zepto store to collect the PET

Bottles.

8) Collect the money from scrap dealer for the bottles and transfer it to our company.

9) Inform us the weight of collected bottles and collection date.
