NYC Operations Manager - Micromobility Service

Role Description As Operations Manager at Ride by iPakket, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising field teams, managing fleet logistics, and coordinating with local partners and city authorities to ensure efficient and compliant service. This role requires a leader who is comfortable working both in the office and in the field, solving operational challenges, supporting expansion efforts, and helping build relationships with local businesses and municipalities. This is a full-time on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Key Responsibilities -Lead and coordinate daily operational activities -Supervise field staff, store personnel, and fleet operations -Manage logistics, fleet availability, and maintenance coordination -Monitor and improve operational KPIs and performance metrics -Coordinate with local authorities, city departments, and property owners when required -Support expansion efforts, including scouting new locations and partnerships -Assist in permit-related processes and regulatory compliance when needed -Work with marketing and partnerships teams on local activations -Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently in real time -Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and scalability Requirements -Experience managing operations, logistics, or field teams -Strong leadership and decision making skills -Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments preferred -Knowledge of supply chain, fleet management, or mobility services is a plus -Ability to work on-site and in the field as needed -Strong communication skills and problem solving ability -Comfortable interacting with partners, local businesses, and public agencies Preferred Experience in micromobility, transportation, rental, or logistics companies Experience working with city permits or local regulations Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, or operational software Spanish or additional languages are a plus
