I would like to build an Arabic business directory / marketing & branding website i.e. similar to the yellow pages format. This would cover all Arabic countries, from Morocco to Iraq, however it can start with the main Countries (such as UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan) for now.
At first, this site would have contact details of every shop, restaurant, business, mosque, market (sooq), cafes, malls, libraries, government etc. I basically want to map out all the industries and sectors and put it on this site. & this might take anything from a phone call, to offsite field calls, and visits.
Later on, photos and advert campaign for all the companies’ features on the site can start, so I will be after people who can go round each of these places and offer sales and marketing on the site, from sponsorship deals to actually producing literature, brochures, leaflets, posters, & even websites.
This will be a very rare project, to my knowledge no body has done this across the Arabic countries from one main central database & even if they have it certainly is not as detailed as the yellow pages and would only contain government & tourist places. Oh did I mention that it will be in both English and Arabic!!
SO, I am after reliability, fast delivery, and quick thinking. If this thing works (and I have all the confidence that it will) I will be after a long lasting relationship with programmers, designers, and sales personal.
Requirements List:
I’ll need:
Website designers
Script writers
Sales and Marketing Personal
Fast Translators (English Arabic)
Website details:
I don’t want the main page too crowded with writing and photos etc (though some exception might be made for advertising/ sponsorship deals), more like google or the yellow pages, simple can have an option to be advanced, with the Sectors (such as business, government, tourism, etc) showing as search option.
I don’t want this to be a one man effort, I welcome all ideas, especially from those that have experience in such websites and services.
Await your response, Many thanks
Mustafa
