I've got a simple Excel spreadsheet that I use to keep track of the schedule of contractors working for me. Each row is a separate job, while there is a column for each contractor. If a contractor has worked on a specific job a dollar value appears in his column.
I need to take this spreadsheet and generate a separate spreadsheet for each contractor that is populated with the data from each job they worked on.
* I need to be able to add or remove contractors without breaking this functionality. You can change the original spreadsheet as long as it maintains it's current functionality.
* You can choose a scripting language (in order of preference): Python, Ruby, Perl, VBS. If you would prefer another language please ask. I don't want to use a compiled language, Java or a Visual Basic "binary". VB Script is acceptable. I need a script I can maintain.
* You must be proficient in Excel.
If you can suggest improvements to the original spreadsheet we can discuss compensation for those improvements.
