We have an existing perl application that simply logs into a page, submits some POST data, then displays the output. (We use WWW::Mechanize) The website we scrape the information from has recently changed the POST data and some of the output, which has caused breaking with our application.
The existing code was written more than 3 years ago and it works pretty well overall. It uses the following perl modules - Please note some of them are not in use (ie: ConnCache) but we left them in place.
use WWW::Mechanize;
use Time::Piece;
use Time::Seconds;
use DateTime;
use LWP::Curl;
use LWP::UserAgent;
use LWP::ConnCache;
use JSON::Parse 'parse_json';
use Data::Dumper;
use LWP::Protocol::Net::Curl;
use HTML::TreeBuilder::LibXML;
use Web::Scraper::LibXML;
HTML::TreeBuilder::LibXML->replace_original();
To clarify what we need done:
- Fix the login/password/form information so it display it correctly again.
hi
I'm a Perl developer with extensive experience in website data scraping. I'm familiar with all the listed Perl modules. I'm ready to start, please attach the existing script. Thanks
I'm one of the best Perl developers here and I'm expert in web scraping too (with HUNDREDS of completed projects) that's why I'm sure you'll be impressed with my work.
I can update your code in less than two days and I can offer you best price here.
All I need to start is your code and milestone payment from you. You'll release milestone after you check everything on your side.
Thanks.
Roman

I would like to be able to look into the issue before committing to being able to fix it, hence Milestone 1. There will not be a charge if I am not at least able to identify the issue and point you to a resource that can resolve the issue.
Thank you,
Brian Salisbury
