Thanks for taking the time to read this. Basically what we are doing is creating an Auto-run Flash Drive that will carry a persons pertinent health information for medical providers to access quickly on scene or at a medical facility. What we are looking at is the first page that opens once put into a USB (either apple or Microsoft based) is patients information that is useful to healthcare providers. This will include Name, age, past medical history, medications, allergies, base line vital, etc. Also, this home page would be printable for medical providers to print off. All this information would be optional except Name and age on the front page. What we are doing is creating a personal “patient Care Report” that a person can have with them at any time.
So, the database portion that all the information for the home page is gathered from would be password protected. Basically, the database would or could include any information that you might see on an EMS PCR or what we use with NDMS. Also, if possible to include a picture of the person and other medical images. Ie EKG strip, xray, etc.
Hopefully this kind of paints a picture of what we are looking at. Let me know what you think and if possible what kind of time frame to get this off and rolling with a demo and so forth. Brent has been in contact with several large companies that are very interested in this product, so we have the ball rolling and just need to get the final product out there. Thanks a bunch again!!!
