I posted this job about a month ago and got a winning bid, but the guy never got started doing the work (said he was too busy). I don't need that kind of B.S. ...I want this done quick (like within the next two weeks). Don't bother bidding if you can't make it quick and affordable.
I don't really care what program you use to build it (java, ajax, or whatever- I don't even know anything about those). I just want it to be easy to use. I intend to come up with a name and logo to put into the program and sell it online.
Here is what I want:
A Multi-Level E-mail Extractor
You enter a URL ([url removed, login to view], or [url removed, login to view], etc.) and click a Spider button. The program crawls each site listed on that page, one-by-one, and extracts emails from every page on each site. The difference between this email extractor and other email extractors will be that it doesn't just search the home page of each site- it goes through every page in a site and searches for emails. The reason for this is that most webmasters don't put their email on their main page- most of them have a contact page of some sort. I also want it to be able to search a site regardless of what program has been used to build it (I have found that extractors rarely work on more advanced sites made with flash, CGI, etc.). It also searches forums for emails. One other feature is that it automatically formats certain characters meant to disguise emails (it turns the word at into the at symbol, the word dot into a dot, & spaces into _. It then saves all of the extracted emails to a .txt file on the user's computer.
To review, its features are:
[url removed, login to view] searches every page of a domain for emails.
[url removed, login to view] searches every type of site, regardless of how it is designed.
[url removed, login to view] searches forums.
[url removed, login to view] automatically changes characters used to disguise emails into the proper format.
[url removed, login to view] saves all of the extracted emails to a .txt file on the user's computer.
