325526 Refine Wal-Mart/Sam's Scrapper

Vladimir,

I have outlined a few changes I would like to ask of you - refining the work you have completed (which, by the way, is AWESOME!). I would like to polish up the work you have completed to reflect the following specs, prior to us moving forward with other modules:

# php login page (I have a login page implemented currently - on we have used on other projects in the past. If you do not like or want to use something else, feel free to advise).

# php user administration page (add users, delete users, allow users access to sam's tool, allow users to wal-mart tool, etc.)

# php reporting page (export to excel) to show who ran which queries, how often, at what times, for which items, with how many responses, etc...this may be tough and require a bit of creativity - I would be interested in your thoughts on this.

# Seperate Sam's tool from Wal-Mart tool

# Remove the following columns from Sam's output

- scrapper_id

- fulladdress

- state

- city

- zipcode

- street

- phone

- out_of_stock

- replenishable

- distance

# Remove the following columns from Wal-Mart's output

- scrapper_id

- store_name

- fulladdress

- state

- city

- zipcode

- street

- phone

# If item (or item price) is not available within a Sam's club, fill the price cell with "n/a"

# Is it possible to allow the user to select (or assign a user) a rate of query (user can choose/have assigned a slower/faster item query rate (x number of queries per minute, x number of queries per timeframe, etc)?

# I would like a refined results page (a page that presents historical queries for download, that informs users of scans in progress, scheduled scans, completed scans, etc.).

# Is it possible to allow the user to schedule a query (having the results of that query emailed to them once complete)?

# [url removed, login to view] plug-in that provides a graphical feedback (Web 2.0-style animated indicator) that the item list is being processed (minus the textual feedback that is output on the current plug-in)...this would be the default page offered to users - the current plug-in would be used if troubleshooting were required

# On both tools, is it feasible to implement the following logic?

Consider searching for zipcode "90025" and store number "0001" is queried.

Further, consider searching zip code "90026" and store number "0001" is queried, also.

Based on the first time a "store number" is queried, can all further queries of that store (for that item number) be dropped prior to engaging the destination server?

This would be lighter on the processing load of the website - might be more of a load on our web server...let me know your thoughts.
