I will have traffic coming to a site where the url is like this: [url removed, login to view]
I need a script that converts the 'whatever' into md5. It then stores the md5 and the original value of $ppc in a database. If ppc is empty, or not sent to the script, then it should send 'empty' as the value of $ppc in the database. The word 'null' will not work in this application.
Then the script redirects to [url removed, login to view] (obviously put the actual md5 there, not 'md5value' heh).
You do not have to build [url removed, login to view], that's already done. You just need to make sure you are redirecting with the correct md5 and keep track of which md5's correspond to which values for $ppc.
I need a password-protected backend that allows me to see which md5's correspond to which values for $ppc in a neat little table. It should also have a simple search function that lets me search by md5 value or by $ppc value.
There will be a few hundred values for $ppc so keep this in mind when developing the script.
I am planning to use this script on multiple domains, so make some kind of simple config file (or add this to the backend) where I can specify the mysql database name, username, password, etc. I should also be able to specify the redirect url as it will not always be to something called '[url removed, login to view]'...ie sometimes it will be [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] etc.
If you have any questions, please ask and I will clarify.
