I bought the software WebJobs which was supposed to be easy to customize with the admin but it turns out you do need some PHP knowledge to make some basic changes. I am not too sure I will keep this script. I just want to be upfront about the fact that this project may close without any programmers being selected if it will cost more money to make the changes than to buy a whole new script that already has those features.
WebJobs script: [url removed, login to view]
The project you would be working on is [url removed, login to view]
It is a job board site. If you are interested in knowing more about the script, I can send you the login info for a employer test user and for a job seeker test user. You can also create some test users yourself if you want.
Change #1: Right now when an employer registers, the form looks like this: [url removed, login to view]
I would like to add a textarea field at the end called Description. This field should also show up in two other places: 1) in the employer's Edit profile page (will be the same code and changes you put in the registration page). 2) in the employer's profile page as seen by the job seeker ([url removed, login to view]) I'm pretty sure this part should just be a php echo $output thing. But you know more about this than I do.
Change #2: Right now when employers search the resume database, they get the list of all registered job seekers, even those who haven't posted a resume yet. So when they click on the link to the resume of a user who hasn't posted a resume they get a "Sorry, resume does not exist" type of error. So the [url removed, login to view] file should have some type of "IF there is no resume ID, don't show the user in the resume search results".
Change #3: There is a feature called a Job Agent. Job seekers can create Job Agents. They enter the type of job they are looking for, in which country, etc. and then they get email alerts when a new job matches their job agent criterias. Right now, they must enter their State. But since this is an international job board and since I don't want to have to add the states of all existing countries manually, I would like to have this mandatory states field removed. Sounds simple enough but when I tried, I got some errors.
Change #4: I plan to add the Resume Wizard plug-in([url removed, login to view])
But the wizard doesn't provide the option of add a photo in the resume. I would like that option to be added. If you are interested in testing the resume wizard, I can tell you again in the message board where you can do that. Note that the employers have the ability to add their picture in their edit profile page. Pictures seem to have to be the same name as their username and they all go in the same "uploads" folder. So there might be the possibility to check the code for that.
That's it for now. If it goes well I might have additional changes to do later on. But these are the main ones I would need to decide to keep this script. If you could in the message board, tell me how the pricing is divided for each of those changes that would be helpful.
Feel free to ask additional questions if something is not clear. Thanks in advance!
