I'm seeking a cost-effective solution to help me manage the conversion of an Access application to .Net.
In particular I seeking a 3-page web site.
List/search page to provide a list of all objects in the parent table. Search by objecttype or keyword search. Resulting records will have a hyperlink to open a page where data can be edited. A subpage/subsection of the edit page will display the child records. Each of these records will have hyperlinks. Clicking on the link will take me (user) to an edit page for the desired child record.
All edit screens should have save and cancel buttons. I will provide a master page for colors, etc.
Please review the worksheet I have attached. It contains 2 tabs. The tabs represent 2 tables I want created in SQL Server 2005. The tab names and column names correspond to the table and field names I want. You can determine the best data types, etc. This is the actual data I will be using. These are arranged in a parent child configuration, where child items in the 2nd tab refer to parent objects in the first tab. There is no numbering (index) for these, so if you can convert so each object in the parent and child tables had numberic row identifiers.
