13157 Need Craigslist Posting Script

Description: I need a program that can automatically post ads on Craigslist.com. Strong preference will be given if you have ALREADY written the application. If you have not written it yet, please post and indicate the number of days until completion. It needs to be able to post multiple different ads on a pre-determined schedule that I will set for each ad (hourly, daily, weekly). It should keep track of individual ads separately. It should be able to post to any city that Craigslist serves. Craigslist presents an image containing several letters that must be entered by the person who makes the post. It is OK if the program displays the image so that I can enter the letters. These are the features that I would like. None of them are required. But I would like to know how much it would cost to add them to the program: 1) it should be able to keep track of the active postings in a database, and allow me to disable and enable them, to edit the ad, change the cities that it gets posted to, and to change the posting schedule if I want. 2) it should allow images to be attached to the ad posting, and uploaded to the Craigslist servers. 3) it should automatically approve each ad by monitoring the email account (I'll provide the POP/SMTP email accounts and domain), clicking on the link in the email, and then clicking on the Publish button. It should save the link that's in the email into the database for later use. 4) before it reposts the same ad again, it should delete the old ad, using the link that was sent in the email. 5) it must not get banned by Craigslist. They have a number of ways of detecting automatic posts. I would like to hear your suggestions how to do this. 6) it should be able to post to any category, but the most needed are the "services", "housing", "personals", and "gigs" sections. I would MUCH PREFER that the application run on my server (Linux-based). I will consider desktop-based applications (Windows XP-based). It must be built using open standards (PHP, MySQL, Perl/CGI, Java, JSP, etc.) Source code must be included, in case changes are required due to changes that Craigslist may make on their end in the future. cgilance Escrow will be used to protect buyer and seller. If you're going to be writing the program (if it's not already complete), you must be available via IM (Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, AIM) at least 4 hours each day during business hours on the west coast of North America.
