We are looking for a reliable and dependable programming firm for this project. References are required. We are looking to develop a multi protocol IM program in C/C#/C++ and an accompanying website. Firms must have prior experience in this area. We require strict adherence to our time schedule, provider must be able to meet deadlines. We are looking at completing this project within three months, with a maxium variance of two weeks.
I am looking to create a clone of Trillian or similar multi service messaging programs. We will also be adding some custom features to the program, such as ad streaming, stock streaming, user specific features and content from the website. We have come up with some initial documentation and graphic ideas we will use as a starting point on this project. We are looking at adding several unique features to the client as well, but in general it will be similar to AIM and YIM. The client will have a buddy list, be able to view news and stocks, etc. We will tie in the messaging platform to our site, in that online chat rooms will be logged to the sites forum and searchable. We have some documentation on the project, but look forward to developing it and the software with you. The software should be scaleable, and able to run off of multiple servers, providing a measure of redundancy. The website will provide financial data (similar to yahoo finance or smart money), message boards (forums), API data, user management and billing, tracking and other modules. The project also includes ongoing maintenance and upgrades, which will start as an additional project after application and website are developed.
