148425 Help compiling C++ on Linux

I have an application I have compiled into a .so file on Linux.

I want to use this .so file in my PHP program like this:

[php]

if (!extension_loaded('mylib')) {

dl('[url removed, login to view]')

}

[php]

My problem is this:

I want to create this .so file that will work on all Linux machines. I dont want to compile it on each machine it is used on.

Right now I'm seeing two different problems:

1. It needs a specific libstdc++.so.6 file and complains if it can't find it. This dependancy needs to be fixed somehow.

2. It complains that 'cannot handle TLS data' when I manually create a symbolic link to a libstdc++.so.6 I uploaded myself.

Basically, I want to sell a PHP script that uses my .so file. The script users will not know anything about how linux works so they cant do things like creating symbolic links (ln -s).

I need a compiler/linker solution for this

eg: what compile-time / linker flags should I use to solve this problem?

Thanks.

If I see bids with generic comments such as "can be done" or "we are the best blah blah..." I will ignore your bid.

Good luck.
